Dollar Calculators - Sana Brand

This calculator is rather unremarkable, except for its internal construction. This calculator uses no heatseals, all electrical connections rely on pressure to maintain contact. The display is supported better than most owing to the way the PCB backs the LCD.

The battery was starting to leak. There were no alignment pins to align the keyboard membrane during assembly - tape was used instead, making reassembly more difficult.

This calculator also has a fake solar cell.

Sana "Big Display" calculator.

PCB and display (upper-left), case back (left), case front and keyboard (right).

This calculator uses no heatseals - a good design feature.
